Inter — Completed
Inter is a new contemporary dance and spoken word collaboration exploring themes of inter-connectivity in science and humanity. Inter reflects on the importance and fragility of connectedness; between people, in ecosystems, moments in time and space. In a political climate where things appear to be becoming more divided, Inter seeks to highlight the importance and power of humans working as one.
Inter is created by some of Brisbane's most innovative artists; award-winning choreographer Liesel Zink, writer J.M. Donellan, sound artist Mike Willmett, lighting designer Jason Glenwright and three exceptional independent dance artists.
Inter is supported by Creative Sparks, a partnership between the Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council to support local arts and culture in Brisbane.
Cities of Cloud and Wire, will also feature projections to activate Flowstate Pavilion’s architectural feature – the Beacon – in a digital skin of animated poetry that consider scientific themes.

Warm up for the week in this open contemporary dance workshop led by the professional dancer’s in Liesel Zink’s performance Inter. Participants will be led through contemporary technique before taking part in exercises that give insight into Liesel’s creative process inspired by scientific concepts of inter-connectivity.
Please bring comfortable clothing you can move in and socks or appropriate shoes for dancing in.

Warm up for the week in this open contemporary dance workshop designed specifically for movers ages 50+. Led by local professional dancer’s in Liesel Zink’s performance Inter, participants will be led through some contemporary technique before taking part in exercises that give insight into Liesel’s creative process inspired by scientific concepts of inter-connectivity. This workshop is designed to inspire and celebrate the joy of moving in a safe and friendly environment.
