Transmedia storytelling is a narrative told across multiple media platforms to create a whole, cohesive story. In this digital content creation workshop, the theme of surveillance will be explored, pulled apart and reproduce across a variety of platforms. Media platforms can include: blogs, novels, ebooks, comics, mobile apps, video games or films.
Participants will be given a dystopian universe to work within, then using their creative talent combine with easy storytelling tools, explore an incident captured on surveillance cam. Different facets of the incident will be reproduced, reconstructed and remixed to present many sides to the same story.
